Why was the event canceled?
The decision to cancel the event was due to the impending Hurricane Milton. The safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff is our top priority.

Registration and Fees

What will happen to my registration fee?
Your registration fee will be automatically rolled over to the next year’s event, which is scheduled for October 29-31, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Denver, Colorado. This allows you to maintain your commitment to participate in this important industry event without the need for a new payment.

Will I receive a refund for my registration?
At this time, we are not processing refunds for registrations. Instead, your payment will be applied to next year’s event. If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to Client Services by phone: 301-354-2101 or email: [email protected].

What if I can’t attend the event next year?
If you are unable to attend the event next year, please contact us by November 30, 2024 to discuss your options, which may include transferring your registration to a colleague or deferring it to a future event.

Exhibit and Sponsorship

What will happen to my exhibit/sponsorship agreement and payment?
Your exhibit, sponsorship, and respective payments will be automatically rolled over to the next year’s event, which is scheduled for October 29-31, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Denver, Colorado. Future Attendance

Will I receive confirmation about my rollover?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email outlining the details of your rollover once it has been processed.

Event Cancelation Announcement 

We regret to inform you that the Experience POWER event, originally scheduled for October 9-11, 2024, has been canceled due to the impending impact of Hurricane Milton. Governor DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for 35 Florida counties, prioritizing the safety of residents and visitors.

Our top priority is the well-being of our attendees, staff, and partners. We are exploring options about possibly rescheduling the event and will provide updates as soon as they become available. If you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.  Our thoughts are with everyone in the affected areas as Hurricane Milton approaches.

We know you have questions regarding the cancellation of the Experience POWER event due to Hurricane Milton, and we are working as quickly as possible to share more information. Attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers will receive follow-up communication.

Here are a few details to consider:

Housing

• If you booked your reservation through our hotel block at Renaissance Orlando at Sea World, Experience Power’s Headquarter Hotel, then the Renaissance Hotel Team will be handling the cancellation of your hotel reservations for Experience Power. You will receive an email cancellation notification and no cancellation fees will be incurred on your end. You do not need to handle the cancellation process on your own. Please allow 48 hours for this cancellation to process as the hotel is working diligently and quickly to complete these cancellations.
• If you booked hotel reservations through another source, please work directly with the booking entity you used to request a cancellation.

Travel

• As a reminder, if you booked a flight, train, or other travel accommodations for this event, please cancel immediately.

Registration

• Current, paid registrants will receive an email next week with instructions.

Shipments

• Our operations team is communicating diligently with Freeman as they work through their plan for shipments that have already been received at their advance warehouse in Orlando.
• Freeman will be handling the return of these shipments, and we appreciate your patience while they plan and coordinate even as Hurricane Milton continues on its path to Florida.
